I regularly received testimonials like this while working at an award winning wellness center that catered to executives and celebrities. While I am a happy, optimistic person, what wasn’t seen was the lack of sleep, long hours of work, and lack of self-care. I was too busy nurturing and inspiring others. Until, I was too burnt out to continue.

I left the dream job to focus on taking care of myself. It’s been a long path undoing the years of stress and trying different techniques to find what worked best. But I’ve learned to shift my focus, slow down, and that I can do more for others when I’m at my best.

10:30am Mindful Movement – A quick awakening of muscles and joints to prepare for a longer walk.
11:00am Vitamin Nature – Refresh the soul with a journey into some local woods and discover the Forest Bells. (Carpool needed)
1:30pm Nourish Your Body – Enjoy a plant forward meal.
2:00pm Overcoming Obstacles – Brainstorming ways to overcome our biggest life challenges.
3:00pm Finding Body Bliss – Use therapy balls for self-massage to release physical tension.
4:30pm Closing Ceremony – Tap into your power force
